Meet The Artist
“You were born to the rolling hills and little rivers of the Shire, but home is now behind you. The world is ahead" - Gandalf
Andrew Strahan grew up in rural Alabama as the son of a landscaper and a teacher. His love for art blossomed at summer camp in North Carolina where he learned about clay work and where he spent his college years. Today, he lives in Washington, D.C and works as a government employee by day. But don’t let that scare you off. His love for art has not slowed down. He travels the world, finding the most exquisite landscapes and objects to capture for his audience. In addition, he crafts his ceramics in D.C and sells locally and nationally.
His favorite photos to capture are of exotic animals and mountains, inspired by his love for his home, Western North Carolina.
